Brian Catell and The Jump City Jazz Band: This band prides itself in being extremely versatile; we play a wide range of jazz, swing, pop and rock. This can be a real asset in most venues. The song sampler illustrates this. We work as a trio, quartet, quintet, sextet and more on occasions, depending on the client's budget and needs. I also do solo jazz piano and on occasion work with acoustic bass or other combinations. A portion of "Jump City Jazz" is currently the house band for the television show on WABI - "The Nite Show with Dan Cashman" seen Saturday evenings at 11:30 pm and on WPME in the Portland area. I am currently the pianist for L'Aperitif in Bangor on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday evenings. I am released from that position when I have Jump City Jazz engagements.
